Zedruu giveth and Zedruu taketh away. This is a deck that will scale well against a playgroup. It's never boring, either.

This deck runs a number of synergies. Many of the creatures are power 2 or less, allowing Reveillark to bring them back from the graveyard. Many of them have immediate value and can be donated as you see fit.

Sunforger is an all-star here. It can grab many of the most useful removal, tutor, and/or copy spells. They can get restocked into your library with Mistveil Plains or returned to hand with Mnemonic Wall/Archaeomancer. Wild Research serves as a decent backup to grab key instants and Enchantments.

Zedruu's donation effect serves as the backbone of the deck's draw and lifegain, so there are a number of cards that become useless once you're done with them. Pentad Prism, Sphere of the Suns, Exclusion Ritual, any aura. Puca's Mischief is a useful tool for trading things you no longer need to opponents who control things you want. Then bounce or flicker them to get the value back.

Game Plan: Play it safe. Let others do the work for you. You'll want to get a decent manabase going, so get out things like Land Tax and supplement it as needed with artifacts. When you're done with them, give them away. Use Political Trickery and Vedalken Plotter to trade used lands for good ones. Stock up a hand full of fun effects.

Once someone plays a desirable spell or creature, you'll want to copy it, take it or neutralize it. Don't overextend. Remember, you're playing the long game.

Win Conditions: Essentially, your opponents provide the win conditions for this deck. Cards like Insurrection and Reins of Power will give you their creatures. You can copy their spells with Reverberate and Wild Ricochet. Empty their hands of spells with Mindclaw Shaman and flicker effects. Keep them from beating you down with Propaganda and strategic Statecraft donation. Rimescale Dragon and Meekstone keep big beaters tapped down.

There's a snow subtheme, because it's not Christmas without snow.
