This is Zedruu, the Kindhearted and ever-so-generous...

(Side Note: I love the feel and look of old Magic cards, so I'm trying to use as many old border cards as possible)

This deck is a combination of choas, control, and maybe (read: Definatly) a bit of stax. Seeing as Zedruu the Greathearted isn't exactly a conventional creature, normal ways to win the game are kinda off the table, and thus leads to alternate ways to win. The way I have this work is I get Zedruu onto the field as soon as possible, attempting to protect him while simultaneously giving away his generous gifts to your opponents. With gifts given, he draws you tons of cards, and refills your life total.

If you cannot tell, I love also using old, relatively unknown cards to surprise/impress my friends and fellow players!

As time goes on, Zedruu will utilize several different cards to attempt to slow down other players and make their lives a little less hectic. Sometimes everyone needs to take a breather and calm down. Lightmine Field tells everyone to stop building and using armies, while Mana Maze informs the storm players that they kinda need to stop. I can help protect everyone's creatures, too, with cards like Statecraft and Earnest Fellowship. Solemnity tells infect players that they need to get a better life, along with calming down counter-based players. The cards Null Chamber, Planar Chaos, Rest in Peace, Pramikon, Sky Rampart, Steel Golem, and Witch Hunt all serve to further slow opponents' strategies and stall their victories.

The way I'd win is to abuse Zedruu's upkeep triggers to draw a ton of cards and gain a ton of life. Utilizing this, I can easily get to 50+ life for a Felidar Sovereign win or an Aetherflux Reservoir kill. Thanks to my card draw ability with Zedruu and other cards, Laboratory Maniac is another possible way to end the game. Approach of the Second Sun is also quite feasible, considering that I could play it back-to-back by drawing back into it. Finally, people could simply drain out or be picked off by other players as my 'gifts' hinder other players' games.

I've included Nexus of Fate to take extra turns in order to speed up a possible win, Island Sanctuary for combat protection with minimal downside, and Sunforger to save myself and interact with other players whenever. If you look closely, there's a fairly decent Sunforger Toolbox in the instant section. Other than that, I think that explains what this does fairly well. Let me know what you think.
