Wurmlover - Ehhh... useful but not sure it'd have much of an effect in the end with the meta at my lgs.

Illusions of Grandeur, Steel Golem, Paradox Haze, Swords to Plowshares, Puca's Mischief, Sol Ring...Overall, I'd try to work in better removal and ramp :)

Daedalus19876 thanks! I do have Illusions of Grandeur, Steel Golem for the deck already (forgot to update) but the others are a good idea!

How about Goblin Spymaster, keeping it until your next turn then giving it to an opponent, Cache Raiders, Cephalid Vandal, or maybe Form of the Dragon?

Celestial Dawn no longer screws non-white players - they can generate white mana, so all it does it fix all their mana.

Wouldn't a player just return the Cache Raiders to your hand?

Crown of Doom can't be given back to you, but your opponents can keep trading it amongst themselves, which helps when the owner of it dies, as it will remember past states and take longer to 'come home'.

I agree that you need a bunch of ramp - you want to have mana free to give things away.

Zedru builds have always fascinated me. Not sure how they would fit in, but maybe Harmless Offering and Fevered Visions would be good, also maybe some more protection for Zedru, like Lightning Greaves and Swiftfoot Boots.

Either way, sweet build

39 lands seems super high - is it really necessary to run so many when you're going to be drawing extra cards anyway?

39 is high, but I'm running few baubles in this version. I need to up those and then I can drop the lands. What I found is that I need to ramp up as quickly as I can (which means baubles really) so that I can get things out and also manipulate stuff each turn. Otherwise if my mana build up is too slow, I get bogged down. I'm thinking I may need to run stuff like Omniscience and maybe like Mind's Dilation to cheat stuff out.

Wolfrage76: You are indeed running very low on mana rocks, and some of the ones you've got (Sphere of the Suns, Pentad Prism) aren't great choices since once they're out of counters you've got nothing to do but pass them off to another player. Personally I'd aim for cheap stuff (CMC 4 or less) that produces at least 50% of its casting cost on the turn you cast it. Good stuff like Thought Vessel, Mind Stone, Prismatic Lens, definitely Sol Ring from the maybeboard because it's one of the best mana rocks in the format, Chrome Mox, Mana Crypt if you have the budget, Thran Dynamo. Most of those will serve you much, much better than your bouncelands and ETB tapped lands, and make the deck run oh-so-much faster.

Omniscience is good, but very hard to resolve when everyone knows how good it is. Mind's Dilation is fun but unfortunately a little too random. You're probably better off running more acceleration in the form of mana rocks, and being able to cast the things you naturally draw into.

MrTomDawson Yes, the Counter based rocks that can be empptied can only get passed off, but each of them is still 1 life and 1 draw a turn for me, and is useless to my opponents usually, which can draw me into more mana producers (once I beef up my rock count). So even empty they're still useful to me.

That said, your suggestions for other rocks are good ones and will go into the deck. This was built with what I had on hand but now that my olivia and Vela decks are good to go, I'm picking up more cards for this one. Mana crypt is still a nogo for me as I just can't justify the cost right now.

I'll probably go with your suggestions and replace extra lands with the rocks.

Main reason for Mind's Dilation is my group's Meta. They tend to have a lot of high end stuff in their decks (like Omniscience) and I'm known for taking people's stuff - this would be another variation on that. I L O V E using people's stuff against them (which is how this deck came about actually). Nothing more fun than pulling out someone else's Emrakul, the Promised End or Ulamog early on heh
