What?

I had a problem

I love Zada, Hedron Grinder but wanted more than a mono-red version, also I didn't want to run Ink-Treader Nephilim for a lack of a color and because it hits everyone's creatures. I wanted IT ALL

Thankfully for me Zada is typed in such a way that I can play a figurehead General and Zada can be the real power behind the throne.

The Positives and Negatives to having your General not actually be your General

1. Can come out of left field if people get absorbed in other aspects of the game
2. Can be held in hand until the right moment
3. No Command Zone to retreat to

The Figurehead

General Tazri

1. Decent Body
2. Finds Zada
3. Buff can be impressive late game
4. Mana cost isn't too extreme
5. Can be used to Combo Out

The Power

Zada, Hedron Grinder

1. Average Body
2. Turn majority of deck spells into IMMENSE value
3. CMC isn't terrible

What is the plan

The general plan is ramp and play bodies saving the true methods to go off until the board reaches a first state of critical mass, so when you start dropping the important cards the deck goes from 0-100 very quickly and everyone is overwhelmed by it.
