Welcome to my Primer of Zada, Hedron Grinder

Zada is a commander that most look at and say "naa she isn't very good" or "she is only good in hyper aggro or constructed formats" those people would be very VERY wrong. Yes now we all know of her aggro potential just by reading the card but the possibilities for this deck were found out of pure unadulterated dumb luck and some inspiration.

This deck is a Storm combo deck first and a "Beat you to death" deck second. With this in mind THIS DECK IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART! YOU WILL FAIL A TIME OR TWO AND SOMETIMES JUST HAVE BAD GAMES THEY HAPPEN!!!

You will like this deck in: You like Storm You like the challenge of mono red You like pulling wins out of your (add funny word here) while your opponents stare at you like a cow watching a fire Most important like cheap EDH decks that can be foiled pretty easily

You will not like this deck if: You are a Timmy and hate combos You like playing blue and having interaction You hate messing up and losing spectacularly when you fizzle hard Your best friend is Craterhoof Behemoth

Now this deck surprisingly can draw cards with the best blue decks, with cards like Crimson Wisps and Accelerate, even Stun with only two or three creatures can net you a ton of advantage early! This card advantage will be the difference between you killing only one person or killing 3 to 4 people, but this card draw comes with a very heavy burden. Many times have I actually decked myself by complete accident due to a state effect because of Zada. THIS DOES HAPPEN, YOU WILL FIGURE OUT RIGHT AWAY HOW MANY TIMES YOU SHOULD REALLY CAST THOSE WISPS, ACCELERATES,ECT.

We have all this card draw and mana now what do we do with it? Well to answer that question is win, we do that by not only using Ignite Memories but also Grapeshot and even Empty the Warrens and yes we even have Firestorm these are the main win cons secondary win cons go into using a ritual like Seething Song or Pyretic Ritual with Reiterate and casting Skullcrack to just kill a board.

Hilariously enough when I build decks I don't just build an A/B plan I go all the way down the line usually to E so lets lay those out.

A: Cast Enough spells in a Turn that Grapeshot or Ignite Memories can kill without combat damage. B: A Ritual plus Reiterate plus Skullcrack = They get shot for 3 a lot!! Probably until they die! C: Cast enough spells that Empty the Warrens makes Impact Tremors Lethal D: Cast Twinflame on Zada, Hedron Grinder and in response flash in Dualcaster Mage This infinitly loops because the new copy copies the spell again and again oh not to mention they all have haste. HAHAAHA Winning fun hahaha E: This card Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle just sometimes wins you the game. We play mountains.. free lightning bolts tend to hurt after a while. Also adding two to this one Koth of the Hammer can just make dudes and win by himself if left unchecked. Understand though these are digging in the barrel. FINALLY PLAN F THIS IS THE FINAL RESORT THIS DOESN'T TECHNICALLY WIN YOU THE GAME BUT IT DOES TIE IT "MOST" OF THE TIME Arcbond + Firestorm + Zada, Hedron Grinder with only a few creatures say three you basically kill everyone. You become a "ZadaBomb" and take everyone with you. Kind of crazy right?... WELL WE PLAY RED!!! WE ARE CRAZY!!!

Thank you for reading my Primer I hope you build this for yourself and have fun! Any suggestions or questions are welcome!
