This goal of this deck is to continuously rotate lands between your hand, graveyard, and the battlefield to get big creatures out and draw cards.
Arbor Elf
and
Voyaging Satyr
provide a valuable mana source when combined with
Utopia Sprawl
so that you can keep casting spells while placing lands in the graveyard or returning them to your hand.
Ash Barrens
and
Terramorphic Expanse
put a land in the graveyard and a land of your choice onto the field. Casting
Geomancer's Gambit
on one of your own lands has the same effect and allows you to draw an addition card on top of it. And
Realms Uncharted
is an incredible tutor card for this deck, putting two lands in the graveyard and two lands in your hand for just three mana.
The deck's win-condition is its big monsters -
Titania, Protector of Argoth
which returns a land from your graveyard to the battlefield and generates a 5/3 whenever a land is put in the graveyard from the battlefield,
Multani, Yavimaya's Avatar
which gets stronger as lands are placed in the graveyard and can be returned to your hand along with two lands, and
Borborygmos Enraged
which puts lands in your hand and does damage by discarding them.
For functionality,
Dredge
is an amazing one-mana drop that can either put a land card in the graveyard triggering
The Gitrog Monster
and
Titania, Protector of Argoth
or dealing damage by sacrificing
Ruination Rioter
, allowing you to draw a card regardless.
Nature's Spiral
allows you to return big cards from your graveyard to your hand if they are killed or put there by
Borborygmos Enraged
. Additionally,
Ramunap Excavator
allows you to play lands from your graveyard, an invaluable ability in a deck that revolves around sacrificing lands.
Finally,
Lord Windgrace
is a huge addition to this deck. It has three powerful abilities that all benefit this deck in some way
First, it allows you to draw two cards by putting a land from your hand into your graveyard, potentially triggering
Borborygmos Enraged
. Second, it can place two land cards from your graveyard onto the battlefield untapped. And last of all, it provides an alternate win condition, allowing you to destroy SIX non-land permanents and put six 2/2 tokens with forestwalk onto the battlefield.
I am looking for help to perfect this deck. I would like help balancing the number of lands and distribution of cards that I have in the deck and am also open to suggestions for alternate cards. Any feedback is welcome and thanks in advance!
