Not bad. I'm liking the Peace Strider /Pierce Strider combo there. Not many other ways to gain life tho. Maybe add an card:Angel's Mercy or two instead of the Retract . card:Kraken's Eye would also do wonders in this deck :)

Haha thanks. Retract was in there more for fun than anything else. I'm still not that afraid about the life gaining. As long as I got Peace Strider or Fabricate it would be quite easy. Feel like taking out that Wall of Denial but not sure what to put in though. Perhaps card:Golem's Heart ?

Very nice. I think my only nit pick would be you have a lot of swamps when you have very little black in your deck. I would take away some swamps and add a few more islands just as a little insurance that you don't get mana screwed at the wrong moment.

Hmm noted. I guess with Paradise Mantle around, there shouldn't be thattt much of a mana issue =x

Springleaf Drum is better than Paradise Mantle for these kind of decks I find.

Hmm k I'll go with Springleaf Drum and see how it goes. I'm still thinking whether I should put 4 Pierce Strider or Peace Strider =/

If you're willing to drop Vault Skirge , Heartless Summoning can really boost this deck's speed.

I'm not sure about Heartless Summoning ... the -1/-1 kinda turns me off, considering this is not an aggro deck =x But then again, Vault Skirge 's there mostly because he a black/artifact permanent and a good early game life gainer, though I'd gladly take him out if I can think of anything better.

As much as I like Semblance Anvil , I always have my reservations in using it, mostly because of its imprint cost. 1 single-target artifact hate can really screw things up (your imprinted card type get exiled forever and your mana/turn to cast Semblance Anvil seems kind of wasted). Considering the format, I was thinking about Cloud Key thought not as speedy.

If you want to try to get explosive you could splash red and use Mishra, Artificer Prodigy . Glimmervoid could help a lot.Maybe a few Swiftfoot Boots to protect him.

Wow Mishra, Artificer Prodigy ... This card is insane when goes along with Esperzoa . I totally wouldn't mind splashing red just for him, especially when things are already easy with Springleaf Drum

I think most decks that are likely to have consistent lifegain can benefit from a Well of Lost Dreams or 2. Use your lifegain for powerful card advantage!!
