This is a very low budget/casual deck i'm trying to build. The idea is to abuse the effects of Ragged Veins and Spiteful Shadows to redirect damage dealt to creatures to their controllers. I know this could possibly be better using red, but i wanted to try and do it in mono black version.

Creatures to give:

• Sleeper Agent : becomes a nightmare with Vampiric Link / Stab Wound
• Treacherous Pit-Dweller : nice body for early damage or blocking

Blockers:

• Treacherous Pit-Dweller : if anything goes wrong you can always put a Vampiric Link / Stab Wound on it
• Stuffy Doll : indestructible redirect in your face
• Krosan Cloudscraper : unmorphed, you want this in your graveyard asap (Death's Shadow is better but way too expensive for a 15$ deck)

Damage on creatures:

• Dead Reckoning : great damage/cost ratio and cool utility
• Tendrils of Corruption : small cost, possible big damage and life gain
• Corrupt: higher cost, can target player directly if necessary, life gain

Damage on player:

• Sleeper Agent + Vampiric Link : you can't attack with it, you lose 2 life, i gain 2 life
• any creature on opponent side + Spiteful Shadows/Ragged Veins + Tendrils of Corruption /Corrupt/ Dead Reckoning
• Stuffy Doll + Tendrils of Corruption /Corrupt/ Dead Reckoning
• Krosan Cloudscraper in your graveyard + Spiteful Shadows on opponent creature + Dead Reckoning + Tainted Strike : 13 poison counters in your face
