Deck based around some ETB triggers and a very Trusted Advisor . You may play this deck in the vain hope that your father comes back from his trip to the Bahamas that he takes every two months without needing you to discreetly clean his laundry to keep your mother from finding out.

Deck was intentionally designed to work decently in multiplayer and significantly better in 1v1.

Strategy

• Trusted Advisor makes you return a blue creature to your hand every upkeep.
• Play cards with ETB triggers such as Master of Waves , Exclusion Mage , and Mesmerizing Benthid to do shenanigans.
• Use counters and disperse type cards to keep your opponent from killing you.
• Murmuring Mystic to get some tokens for your spells.
• Ixidron is a finisher. If your opponent manages to get enough creatures, make them flip their shit in both the figurative and literal sense.

• You will hopefully have enough tokens and some forms of protection such as Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir or Lord of the Unreal to deal the damage necessary to murder them all.

When to Use Cards

Save Wizard's Retort for creature spells if possible, unless you have no other choice.

It will usually cost only 2 blue as the deck is filled with wizards.

Negate and/or Syncopate should be saved for board wipes and kill spells.

Blink of an Eye should be used for draw if possible. Otherwise, save it.

Ignore Sigil Tracer unless you need to deal with actual threats or need additional card draw from Chemister's Insight

Future Improvements

16/4/2019

The deck will inevitably have 2x Star Compass s to ramp. This is necessary.

As it stands, it plays slowly and the strategy takes too long to get Safely.

You may be stuck until turn 6 in order to play the spells you need in order to win without risking loss of vital permanents.

An additional problem is that the elementals created with Master of Waves will die if I return it to my hand, unless I have both out. This is an inconsistent strategy.

Thankfully, it can be give me some temporary blockers for a turn if I need them.

Currently weak to token spam. Id est, goblins.

Removed the Puppeteer s, a land, and an Opt in order to add in:

2 Fellwar Stone s.

1 Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx

2 Paragon of Gathering Mists

The reasons behind the change is to mana ramp better as well as have the ability to trigger the ETB of Master of Waves with no loss of elementals.

Fellwar Stone is the best choice as it is modern legal, costs only , and doesn't enter in tapped.

Of course, there are artifact creatures that can tap for mana and are more effective, but I want to reduce the likelihood of my mana base being destroyed by some bullsh*t kill spell.
