I would look into Painful Quandary

I think I'll put in a couple Painful Quandary as another win condition. I few people have already stated if someone has played this deck before, it's not too threatening(a.k.a not many win conditions).

Thx for the feedback =).

It's hillarious to play, +1.

Are there any other creatures like that, because I'm sure you'd be hard pressed to get 'em when you need 'em.

There are Flailing Soldier , Flailing Ogre and Flailing Manticore . Though I'm not sure a if one, they're considered choice cards, two, if they're worth it, and three, what to take out of the current deck to make room.

Now that I'm looking at Flailing Manticore , he is a beast if not dealt with.

Hmmmmm. Not too sure here. Suggestions?

Also there's Confusion in the Ranks that can be entertaining in a multiplayer game. Though not so good in 1v1 and it wouldn't do much in this deck atm.

Thx peeps for the +1's, and if you know of any good choice cards, I'm more then willing to take a look =)

Actually Lethal Vapors would be ideal to take out if more creatures would be put into the deck.

Take out Lethal Vapors for Flailing Manticore ? Yes, No? Same mana cost and easier to cast with the 3R instead of 2BB.

I dunno, I kinda like Lethal Vapors . It locks the board down and if they don't have enchantment removal on hand they will have to destroy it on sight and take the skip. If they do, that sets you up nicely to play Painful Quandary right after.

The only problem I see is that it comes in late if you don't have something like dark ritual. I would like to see more creatures in here though. And it seems like any deck running blue would just counter half of your spells and therefore paying the life wouldn't be too risky.

Fun deck though =)

The only other "choice" cards I can think of off the top of my head are Lava Blister and Book Burning , which are situational and may be in the sideboard at best.

I love me some sexy Fact or Fiction . It might be worth splashing blue if I find myself lacking cards mid to late game.

I saw Book Burning in my initial search, but as you said, it's quite situational. Lava Blister on the other hand seems like a great side board card! I'll definitely start a side board now =)

Again thx peeps for the +1's and feedback. It really helps me in deck building =)

With the exception of Curse of the Cabal and another land drop, I don't think there's much benefit to get an extra turn in this deck. Since a lot of spells in here are reaction based.

Well...extra swings with the Shivan Wumpus would be nice, but 4 black mana specific can be rough to cast.

Not sure, I'll have to test it out. Thx for the feedback =)

Fancy! I like Tyrannize =) Sideboarding it for now, but may put a couple in the main deck once I test it out a little :)

what about running Phyrexian Obliterator ? It gives your opponents choices...get beat in the face with a 5/5, or lose a lot of permanants. also its just a good card lol

August 23, 2011 2:59 p.m.

Kasseem says... #20

I don't think Phyrexian Obliterator is really a choice card. If it was like "any player may sac X permanents to prevent X damage from Phyrexian Obliterator ", then I would agree.

It's the same as lets say Glissa, the Traitor for example. You can either block it and lose a creature, or take 3 damage, but it's still just normal atacking and blocking options with passive abilities.

But yes, it's a silly good card if the dealt with ;)

Dude... I frickin love this! +1(000,000,000)

romeo22 says... #22

This is true, he is not strictly as choice based as the majority of your cards.

He also makes a tremendous blocker lmao. But i suppose he may just not have a place in your deck.

In any case though, kudos, and +1 from me lol

Sweet God, this is fantastic. An enthusiastic +1 from me!

Question: How are you using this deck? Casually against some friends, or in some sort of series of Legacy tournaments?

August 23, 2011 10:18 p.m.

Kasseem says... #24

I haven't put it together yet =( I wanted to see what ideas other people can come up with before I ordered the cards I needed.

However, I just ordered the cards to finish it up(along with the side board and maybe board too), so I should have some actual results in a week or so.

Oh yea, I'll just be playing against some friends. Their decks range between standard casual play, to fairly serious legacy play, and everything in between =) So I'll have a lot of deck variety to play against.

Sooooo if you don't mind I'm gonna give this deck idea my own take some time in the near future. Of course you'll get all the credit for the deck though
