Goal is to pair Boros Reckoner + Nearheath Pilgrim , make Reckoner indestructible and ping him, then redirect his damage to himself. Over and over again. Gain infinite life. I think you have to choose a number, so go with 999,999,999,999,999.

Boros Charm is the best way to provide indestructible as it protects Pilgrim also. Frontline Medic has the same effect but is more difficult to use. Valorous Stance can only target Reckoner so Pilgrim is vulnerable, but against a deck with little removal (Affinity for example) it's a non-issue.

Other cards provide a source of pressure by attacking or gaining life, mostly to buy time and find the combo pieces. The burn suite and efficient creatures do allow a change of course when the combo isn't hitting. Additional threats also serve as lightning rods, metaphorically and literally, to save get them to waste their burn or kill before Pilgrim and Reckoner join the fun.

Sideboard is about shutting down opposing strategies to buy time to assemble the combo. Help needed.
