Yol Lund Hadrim translates from Dovahzul, skyrim's draconic language to "Fire, Nature and mind".
Dragons.
what magnificent creatures they are, those flying reptiles. I mean, they DO fly and breathe fire. Or lightning, for that matter. In the words of Sarkhan Vol, they are "the perfect marriage of power and the will to use it".
Let's do a quick description of each card's specific job here
Taurean Mauler is a low cmc "dragon" that'll enable silumgar's scorn and draconic roar, and if not dealt with soon enough it'll become a REAL ISSUE LEMME TELL YOU RN
Thunderbreak Regent protects themselves and all the other dragons, they're basically dragon jesus. Hence why there's a playset of them on the deck. whoever messes with my dragons is getting a lightning bolt right in the face
Thundermaw Hellkite is a game finisher, most of the time. gets rid of blockers for a turn at least and has haste
Mirrorwing Dragon is a bit expensive at 5 mana, but it's hard to get rid off on a creature heavy deck, and hitting it with temur battle rage is...demoralizing for the opponent
Icefall Regent is pseudo removal and pesky to deal with.
ON TO THE NON-CREATURE SPELLS
Anticipate is pseudo card draw, one that I really like for that matter, and even prefer over serum visions because of the instant speed
Silumgar's Scorn is counterspell in this deck. if not, idk what to tell you.
Negate also protects the dragons, the poor creatures, and prevents things like planeswalkers from entering the battlefield
Dragon Tempest was the name of this deck for a while, cause it has such good sinergy with this deck.
I would also like to dedicate this deck to the mana dorks Sylvan Caryatid and Rattleclaw Mystic this wouldn't be possible without you, thank you I love you
