Holy crap, it's been a while since i posted anything here.

So have my latest nightmare, Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder EDH, built on the idea of cascading ALL THE THINGS and then beating people over the head with anything handy.

Combines some voltron-esque elements to let Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder stick, and make his job of smacking some unfortunate upside the head easier, alongside a lot of really annoying creatures, and a few ways to make sure they can attack

Past that, it's a bit of 4-color good stuff, with some absolutely annoying cards like Wrecking Ball, Plus every non-white card that cascades, As a single card can have 2+ instances of cascade. EG: Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder to the face + Exerted Celebrant, followed by Maelstrom Wanderer for the 3+ 7-or-less cascades into ANOTHER combat phase.

Best-case is when you have Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder, and something like Aggravated Assault in play, especially with Temur Ascendancy or Maelstrom Wanderer, which lets you smack someone, then untap everything, cascade some new things into play, then smack again. And potentially again. Potentially several times more, you get the idea.

Why? From gatherer: 11/8/2016 If Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder triggered ability resolves more than once in one turn, spells you cast from your hand will gain cascade that many times. Each instance of cascade triggers separately; resolve one cascade trigger and the spell you cast from it before resolving the next cascade trigger.

Hence, if you get to attack twice with him, everything you cast afterwards will cascade TWICE on top of instances of cascade they already have, and so forth. Same thing goes for double strike (Which i currently lack solid ways of giving him it), as it's whenever Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder deals combat damage.

Alternate win con, Past beatings and rolling the bones all day is Helm + Leyline, pay 1 and exile someones deck, for when you absolutely must make the game no fun for someone. Potentially on the second turn. Or just play Possibility Storm and enjoy the chaos that ensues. Because you still get to cascade, since cascade triggers on cast! And you get to order the triggers! Rules are so fun.

Open to suggestions, but this was built from my collection, hence no sword of light/shadow (In another deck) and such.
