Zaddy Yawgmoth, Thran Physician is here to punish our opponents into oblivion.

The deck's primary purpose is to combo out with our game-winning pieces as quick as possible to gain advantage via ramp and card draw. However, we are quite susceptible to combo breakers (aka control) - so we must play smart to win.

As long as we have Yawgmoth, Thran Physician + Ayara, First of Locthwain OR Blood Artist OR Vindictive Vampire OR Zulaport Cutthroat + 1 or more other creatures/tokens, then we'll be able to combo out by placing as many -1/-1 counters on creatures, gain life, and have an opponent(s) lose that much life.

NOTEABLE INTERACTION with above is Instant Win:

• Butcher Ghoul OR Geralf's Messenger

• Ophiomancer + 1/1 Snake tokens

• Nest of Scarabs + Any Sac Fodder = Infinite 1/1 Insect tokens

A favorite combo of mine, though it can happen about less than 10% of the time, is to cheat out Sheoldred, Whispering One as soon as turn 3 OR 5. Buried Alive and Entomb dumps the Praetor into the graveyard, while Reanimate and Victimize revives it to wreck havoc early on.

Whether the strategy is to proliferate -1/-1 counters, infect, or simply combo out for a quick win, there's multiple ways to punish the opponent. We're able to generate a lot of card advantage, board wipes, mana, sacrifice outlets, and tokens with relative ease.
