Why Jace over Kiora? The synergy speaks Kiora, but Jace gives more value quicker?

You usually find a card you like, then build around it. Did you acquire a couple Tromokratis recently? I've never actually seen that card myself. I like it, sorta.

And I like the deck, +1. Are you planning to play it in competition? I'd be curious to how it would do.

Since this deck doesn't have White for Sphinx's Revelation , I went with Jace for the card advantage it provides. Also, Kiora is really bad in a lot of matchups (aggro, anything Red, etc.); I honestly feel that without Supreme Verdict , it's a sideboard card at best, whereas Jace is good against almost everything. I thought about leaving Kiora in just for the Krakens, but relying on an ultimate is pretty loose.

As for whether I'll take this to a tourny... we'll see lol. I actually would have to get Tromokratis , Whelming Wave , and another Jace and Kiora.
