It was inevitable.... Such potential... Such an incredible surge of vitality and power! The virtue of prudence is futile... When you are gifted in ways such as Yahenni is, corruption and utter depravity will run rampant! Yahenni's thrist eventually grew too immense to be slaked by mortal men. When a way to feed on the very energy that powers the city itself was discovered, it was doomed.

So: Quick mechanical breakdown of a mostly flavour-deck: With Silverskin Armor Yahenni, Undying Partisan will bebnefit from all my modular creatures, who, with the aid of Winding Constrictor and Hardened Scales will hopefully have grown nice and plump. Damnation, Attrition, and Barter in Blood all all there to make my opponents' things die, and if Yahenni is an artifact, I will just be thrilled to see my modular guys bite the bullet. Grim Affliction is the epitome of flavour and power combined in this deck: Proliferate makes all my guys with counters bigger, with the -1/-1 counter one of my ooponents' creatures crumbles closer to its demise, and the visual of some creature succumbing to this festering hole that seems to be eating it up from the inside, ooooh, now there's some comparison to draw to yahenni's own condition :)
