Sideboard

Decided to make a Soul Sisters deck, and built it around Norin the Wary cause he's hilarious. This deck is similar to a standard monowhite Soul Sisters deck, but it uses Norin to repeatedly trigger ETB effects. I prefer it to the monowhite version for several reasons. One, because it uses cards like Spirit Bonds and Genesis Chamber to split power up through multiple creatures instead of only focusing on one, which is frequently an advantage now that Fateful Push is a thing. Two, it has a better lategame, with Mentor of the Meek, Purphoros, God of the Forge, and Spirit Bonds allowing it to grind out a win during a slow game. I actually think it's more powerful than the monowhite version in this meta. Three, because it has so much crazy combo potential and is frankly quite a lot of fun, combining tons of ETB effects with a card that was designed to be little more than a joke. It has both Norin and Kobolds, goddammit, what other modern deck could I play?

Current Card Choices and Explanations

Core

4 Norin the Wary. The star of the deck. Runs away a lot and then comes back and triggers everyone.

4 Soul Warden and 4 Soul's Attendant, the second aspect of the core of our deck. Enables a lot of other cards and makes you damn near unkillable by repeatedly getting triggered by Norin.

Beatsticks

4 Champion of the Parish works excellently with Norin and all the humans in this deck. Out of our 25 creatures(not counting Purph cuz he's never one in this deck) we have 21 humans, meaning pretty much everyone makes him bigger. It's not unusual for a turn 1 Champ to be a 3/3 when he attacks turn 2 and bigger than your average Tarmogoyf by turn 3.

2 Ajani's Pridemate is great alongside the sisters, normally bigger than a Tarmogoyf in this deck.

2 Thalia's Lieutenant basically Champion of the Parish but better lategame because she buffs up all your little tokens. She has the advantage over Pridemate and Champ of getting value even if she gets hit by a Fateful Push or other removal, and unlike Pridemate she is not reliant on the Soul Sisters. However, Pridemate typically grows much larger than the lieutenant, and is a much better play early game.

Utility

1 Legion Loyalist can help the evasionless Pridemate and Champ break through a strong defense, and first strike cancels out enemy myr tokens, allowing yours to smash through them. Ran as a one-of to be fetched by the Ranger.

4 Genesis Chamber one of the star cards, allowing us to flood the board with myrs, triggering our sisters and others. Works on enemies as well as allies but we should always be able to get more ETB triggers(unless we're getting super shitty luck).

2 Mentor of the Meek a draw-engine who works well with basically every creature and token in the deck. Only problem is he's a little slow. He'll die to removal before getting value a good portion of the time, but that's removal that could've been directed against our Champs or Pridemates. If he does have time to stay out he can do some pretty damn good work.

1 Spear of Heliod boosts up all of our tokens and provides conditional removal. Double white cost is a little annoying sometimes, but normally pays off. Ran instead of Honor of the Pure to boost up all our myrs.

2 Ranger of Eos is a fantastic card. A little expensive, but gets us guaranteed value. Even if he dies instantly, he's almost as good as a Demonic Tutor in this deck, able to fetch Soul Warden, Norin the Wary, and Legion Loyalist.

2 Purphoros, God of the Forge is great for grindy games, or when I'm starting to lose momentum and just need to get a little more damage through for a win. Will normally win the game 2-3 turns after he hits the board unless I'm already fucked. Also he doesn't even target so he ignores Leyline of Sanctity and Aegis of the Gods. He will never be a creature in this deck, because we have very few red permanents, besides Norin, who constantly runs away. I frequently forget he has the pump effect, but it can work very well with token armies.

Instants

4 Lightning Bolt some of the best removal in the game.

3 Path to Exile more fantastic removal. Dunno if I need to say more.

1 Lightning Helix basically a fifth thunderbolt, with the added benefit of helping our Pridemates and Ascendants.

Manabase

Not running fetches. This deck isn't exactly budget but I'm not willing to cough up 100 dollars for an Arid Mesa either rn. I'll get myself some eventually, and when I do they'll go in. Running quite a few basic plains for when I side in Blood Moon. Kher Keep provides a mana sink that triggers everything besides the Champ. Also it makes kobolds! Magic needs more kobolds. Cavern of Souls is basically a mediocre dual in this deck, casting either a Norin or most of the white creatures. I use two copies of Battlefield Forge instead of 4 Sacred Foundry because I find that it on average makes me lose less life, as almost every card in this deck has only one colored mana symbol, meaning colorless mana will do a lot of the time. However, a shockland can almost never be allowed to enter tapped. Once I do get a few fetches, then i'll put two more Sacred Foundry in.

Sideboard

2 Blood Moon fucks up decks with lots of nonbasics. Modern Staple.

3 Boros Charm all the modes on this are useful. Damage hits your opponent for 4 and can end games. Double strike is used in the same way, but relies on you having an unblocked beatstick. Indestructibility is why it's here though, saving all your dudes from wraths.

2 Electrickery is great against token or aggro-y decks, wrecking Lingering Souls, Bitterblossom and such, and kills all the myrs you inevitably give them.

2 Ingot Chewer is our artifact destruction of choice because it also triggers all ETB effects, and can rarely be played lategame to get us another body.

3 Rest in Peace is excellent vs Graveyard decks.

2x Stony Silence staple vs Affinity and Tron.

1x Spirit Bonds for slower and grindier games where you can afford to pay for the spirits

Welp, that's all. Any constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated. I'm not entirely sure on the sideboard right now, and there's some stuff on the main deck that's definitely subject to change. So if you have a question or suggestion, please ask :)
