Night has fallen and the pack is hungry. In the cover of darkness we run through the wood searching for our meal, fang and claw at the ready. Our senses are sharp; in the distance we can hear the sounds of a human village and smell their fires burning from the watchtowers. Our eyes pierce the veil of night and we easily see the humans behind the walls they built. They think themselves safe from the pack, but they are weak and we are strong. The pack is ready to feast and with a chorus of blood-chilling howls, we descend upon the puny humans and feed. We shall bathe in their blood beneath the glory of the moon.

This deck is a Werewolf/Wolf tribal deck built with Xenagos, God of Revels as the Commander. His ability is perfect for letting our creatures get into combat immediately and makes our creatures a little more threatening in the red-zone. The non-creature spells are mostly either ramp or card draw packages designed to keep me from running out of gas. Obviously Werewolves aren't the most optimal deck theme but I wanted it so this is my attmept to make them as strong as I can think to do. My biggest challenges to overcome is the Transform mechanic most of my creatures have. Casting spells keeps my creatures in their weaker human forms or transfroms them back into said froms but I have a few ways around it such as Immerwolf. Not to mention, the new Planar Bridge card helps me to enhance my board state without working against me.

I am always up to suggestions. As there are not a lot of Werewolf cards I also run Wolves and if you know of any said Wolf/Werewolf that you think I should have in this deck let me know. Also if there is any other good Gruul tech that you feel deserves a spot here leave a comment. Tell me what you feel is not worth a slot and what is and I will gladly try it out. The only thing I will not accept is infinite combos or stax/lockdown combos as I hate playing against those archetypes and strategies and do not wish to play with them. Otherwise, I realize this deck isn't perfect and could be better and look forward to all of you helping me get this deck to be as perfect as it can get.
