Hey. This has been updated for Dragons of Tarkir and it is going to be SO epic.
I want to make a Tarkir Gruul deck since Gruul was my favorite in the last standard meta. I think it can be competitive but will need some tweaking. +1's and feedback are greatly appreciated. Let me know what y'alls be thinkin'.
The basis is pretty simple:
T1: Scryland or Forest, then Elvish Mystic
T2: Land, Courser of Kruphix or another mana dork
T3: Land, Polukranos, World Eater swing
T4: Land, Stormbreath Dragon swing 9.
T5: Play whatever you got and swing for victory, monstrous Polukranos, crater's claw to the face for at least 7, play Dragonlord Atarka and clear the path for you to swing.
Simple, right? Winnnnnnnniiiinnggg.
As a side note, I have been impressed with Crater's Claws. I can routinely get a Crater's Claws for ten or more by turn six. Sweet!
