Maybeboard

Xenagos, God of Revels is my baby, the very first deck I ever built when I first started playing magic. Evolved from a creature-based budget Ruric Thar deck.

This is about as straight forward as it gets. No infinite combos here, just beat face and win games. You can easily throw in a Zealous Conscripts for the 2 card Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker combo, but that's no fun in my opinion. This deck performs very well and can start clearing the table very early.

There are nearly 20 forms of ramp in this deck, including dorks, artifacts, and sorceries, as well as several ways to help cheat out our big boys. This allows us to be very explosive, very early.

Most times people would complain about having nearly 40 creatures in their deck, but I have a very extensive mana dork package and great utility creatures to help fetch, cheat out, and enable the BIG BOYS of the deck.

An ideal hand would be 2-3 lands, 2 forms of ramp, and some big boys to start beating down on everyone. Most times, I can start beating up on the table by turn 3-4, dealing upwards of 10-20 damage to a player or even completely taking them out.

With the perfect hand, you would need 2-3 lands, a combination of two of these mana artifacts Sol Ring or Mana Crypt or Gruul Signet, Malignus/Phyrexian Hydra, and Chandra's Ignition. You can Turn 2 Xenagos, turn 3 Phyrexian Hydra/Malignus for an instant kill, turn 4 Chandra's Ignition for the win.

That's assuming people haven't figured out that your stuff needs to be removed and/or countered. Also assuming you get such a hand, this will ensure the table to constantly look at you as a threat from then on. While the deck for the most part is just a simple, wholesome beatdown deck, it can be pretty degenerate at times.
