Xenabro, God of Fatties

Commander / EDH

LordPimp

Alright players! I've got a commander deck that I'm building that I absolutely love. Xenagos as a commander makes him a bomb in any environment and I aim to try to make it better. I would love to hear all your suggestions and reasons of what I should change in the deck!

Objective: You got Xenagos, God of Revels as the commander. Simple enough, all you have to do is play a big fatty and swing with double power and haste.

To bring these fatties and the commander out, I have many one drops, like the Elvish Mystic and other family, the enchant lands, like Wild Growth and Utopia Sprawl, or the mana rocks Mana Crypt and Soul Ring. I want to reliably have turn 1 mana drops so that I can move into the turn 2 or 3 land ramp cards such as Wood Elves and kodoma's reach . Hopefully you have Xenagos out by turn 2 or 3.

Next are the fatties that you want to play. Most of them take advantage of Xenagos's ability to cause major damage, and force opponents to deal with them in the process. My favorites: Dragonlord Atarka and Wurmcoil Engine. There are many ways to bring out these creatures, whether by cheating them on to the battlefield with Elvish Piper and Quick Silver Amulet, or with tutors like Green Sun's Zenith and Worldly Tutor.

In my opinion, I think that there is a good amount of card draw, and cards that give card advantage. Greater Good absolutely wrecks removal happy opponents by almost insuring that you'll get another fatty because of how big the creatures are. Though this card can get out of hand if you sac a double powered creature. Don't deck yourself.

You also got Hunter's Insight and Life's Legacy to draw cards. You also have Garruk, Caller of Beasts, Sylvan Library, and Sensei's Divining Top to help filter and get the cards you need.

There are also extra combat cards in the deck like Savage Beating and Aggravated Assault when you need them.

--This Deck Does have an Infinite combo--

Savage Ventmaw paired with Aggravated Assault makes infinite combat steps, which can end an opponent in a few swings.

If you're still reading, then I hope you like this deck and would appreciate any criticism. Thanks again for looking!
