I'm trying my best to make a competitive Dino deck using only Ixilan cards (I expect that's probably an oxymoron). The general idea is to ramp quickly into cards like Gishath, Sun's Avatar using manadorks and cost-reducers, while land-and-hand fixing with Commune with Dinosaurs. I'm new to deckbuilding, so I'd be happy to receive advice if you've got any.
