As a side note, the Furyborn Hellkite is Galbatorix. Lightning bolts come from his spear; and the spear is the salt slayer.
In terms of deck construction, I'm at the point where I'm thinking of more things to add before I start trimming the fat.

Looks like it might need more early game red and/or late game white. Not sure where I want to split on the red to white ratio.
I think it might need more creatures to shtick on the battlefield for mid-game defending and attacking.
