Maybeboard


My deck focuses on early mana ramp through green and mana rocks and transitions into huge ramp and card draw in order to drop my commander, playout my hand, and tutor for combo pieces. I have left out infinite hand size and lab man to bring the deck down a little in power.

Combos:

Morophon, the Boundless + Fist of Suns or Jodah, Archmage Eternal = free wizards^1

Wanderwine Prophet + Merfolk Sovereign + Inalla, ArchMage Ritualist = infinate turns^2

Intruder Alarm or Merrow Reejerey + Magus of the Candelabra + Growing Rites of Itlimoc or Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx = Huge Mana^3, potentially infinate

Intruder Alarm + Lullmage Mentor + other merfolk = infinite counter spells^4

Intruder Alarm + Azami, Lady of Scrolls or (Kumena, Tyrent of Orazca + any other merfolk) + Stonybrook Schoolmaster = infinite draw^4

Intruder Alarm + Drowner of Secrets + Stonybrook Schoolmaster = infinite mill^4

Secondary combos

With combo^1 Venser Shaper Savant can give infinite triggers to Intruder Alarm combos: replacing Stonybrook Schoolmaster. Inalla + Venser and combo^3 make infinite mana, triggers, "counter" spells, and unsummons.

Seahunter + combo^3 = tutor all merfolk in to play + Arcane Adaptation = touter all creatures into play

Seedborn Muse functions as a none infinite replacment for Intruder Alarm combos

Tutors Momir Vig, Simic Visionary is a weak tutor in this deck, but does provide additional card draw

Merrow Harbinger draws up key merfolk: Merrow Reejerey, Lullmage Mentor, Stonybrook Schoolmaster and the like

Seahunter works like Harbinger but is repeatable and tutors into play

Expedition Map: Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx; Alchemist's Refuge; Thespian's Stage; Deserted Temple, Hall of Heliod's Generosity; and Inventor's fair roughly in that order

Vedalken Aethermage: key Wizards like Magus of the Candelabra, Azami, Jodah, and the like

Trophy Mage: Fist of Suns, Chromatic Lantern, Herald's Horn, and Commander's Sphere roughly in that order

Plea for Guidance: Intruder Alarm, Arcane Adaptation, Growing rites of Itlimoc, and Future Sight roughly in that order

Invetor's fair: Fist of Suns or Expedition Map normally

I know my mana base can be improved and possibly some pillow forting could be good. If possible suggest what should be taken out for additions and why.
