Why subject only yourself to no cards, when the whole table can? Cards like Words of Waste, Quest for the Nihil Stone, Malfegor, and Painful Quandary are good cards to both ensure, and punish opponents with no cards in hand.

Resource denial is a difficult game to play in Commander, but luckily thanks to F.I.R.E design, we actually got some good cards to work with. Kroxa, Titan of Death's Hunger is amazing, so it Lightning Skelemental and can work pretty well at slowing down, or speeding up your clock as you disrupt other player's options.
