Worldfire Tron

Modern

ChaosEngineer

Sideboard

This deck has picked up a some popularity on here so I thought I'd make the description a little more... descriptive.
This deck plans to win by casting Worldfire with 3 different set up win conditions.

Plan A: The primary game plan here is to ramp up to 12 mana and have an Eternal Scourge literally anywhere but in the deck before casting Worldfire. Win by simply generating 12 mana (3 of which is red), cast Worldfire then the scourge from exile with the remaining 3 floating mana. This is the primary win plan because it's the easiest and most consistent to set up but it's not the fastest.
Plan B: Secondary win condition is ramp to 10 mana (4 of which is red) and have both Rift Bolt and Worldfire in hand. This is simple enough to understand it just requires having more pieces set up then plan A. That being said it is faster and can go off as early as turn 4 if we get the nut draw of tron and Vessel of Volatility.
Plan C: Lastly, we can win by ramping to exactly 9 mana for Worldfire and cast it with Greater Gargagon already in suspend. This is our last Worldfire plan of action because of the risk in using Gargadon. To win the following turn, I have to sack my entire board to it in response to my own Worldfire leaving only 1 time counter on it. This is risky because if they interrupt the Worldfire on the stack I'm screwed. Plus I only run 2 gargadons.

In a pinch the game can also be won with Lightning and Rift bolts to the face with Scourge and Gargadon beat down but that is a pretty dire last ditch effort.

All in all I'm having a ton of fun playing this deck and I play it all the time online.

I'd love to hear what you think so comment or suggest whatever and I'll respond. Thanks

I finally built out the deck in paper and took it to Modern FNM. Record was 2-2.
I (miraculously) beat Green/Red land destruction 2-1. Lost the first game with all the land hate and a bloodmoon. Won game 2 with the full wombo combo of Tron, Vessel and Scourge. Won game 3 through a bloodmoon with the power of double vessel and a blind Worldfire and a top decked mountain then Rift Bolt.

Lost against Kiki jiki combo 0-2. Not much to say here just that he got the combo pieces faster and I never drew any hate (plus he had mainboard bloodmoons also).

Lost against Knight of the Reliquary combo 0-2. Game one he combo'd very quickly. Game 2 he stuck a creature (can't remember the name, some Orzhov 2 drop that shuts down big spells) and a ton of protection spells and just beat down.

Finally I beat Blue White control 2-0. In both games my opponent got greedy and tapped out to stick large planeswalkers. Game one I won with the scourge combo and game 2 I topped a Gargadon the turn after he tapped out and won with that combo.

Had a great time but it seems Tron had dominated the local meta for a while and now every deck runs extreme hate for it even in the main. I'll probably wait a while before I bring it back out and just keep playing it online.
