Introduction:

I decided to build this deck when I pulled Odric. I have been playing MTG for roughly 4 months so be gentle :)

Creatures:

I put a bunch of cheap CMC creatures that have affixes for Odric (double strike, first strike, lifelink, etc.)

Control:

Crovax, Ascendant Hero buffs up all of my creatures and weakens other people's. Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite is a staple for any weenie deck and works as both a win-con and control. Leonin Arbiter, Windborn Muse, and Norn's Annex are great for disrupting the game plan of opponents.

Equipment:

Taj-Nar Swordsmith and Open the Armory can help you pull out equipment to get some of those much needed abilities. card:Sanctum Gargolye is your only way of getting equipment back out of your graveyard so use him wisely. Puresteel Paladin is extremely powerful in this deck and usually helps you wrap the game up pretty quickly. As far as actual equipment goes I am on a strict budget so I stuck to using cheaper cards. Some of the best options you have here are Sword of Vengeance, Chariot of Victory, and Haunted Cloak. These are great because they provide 3 of the abilities in Odric's oracle text. If you have a larger budget there are some great cards you could consider adding like the Swords and Darksteel Plate.

Removal:

For dealing with my opponent's threats I have added Oblivion Ring and Banishing Light. For when things really get out of control card:Day of judgement and Phyrexian Rebirth can help clean up the board
