Terminus > Fumigate —May 11, 2019

Replaced Fumigate with Terminus. In testing, the lifegain was negligible, and Terminus removed EVERYTHING, while also recycling our own creatures and removing graveyard strategies.

Also works pretty well with Lifecrafter's Bestiary :D

ALSO cut Blossoming Sands and Graypelt Refuge for Canopy Vista and Springjack Pasture! Why Pasture? Because Goats, man. Goats.

Flooremoji - Yeah, that price tag... It might be the last wolves-matter card that belongs in this deck, too :/

I’ve been struggling to make a RGW werewolf deck and....holy crap this is beautiful!

Love the synergy, something werewolves are severely lacking.

Love my puppers, glad you’re doing thrm

SonRyu - Oh man, thank you! :D Always great to hear that haha

You might be able to turn this into a RGW Wolf/Werewolf deck with cards like:
Huntmaster of the Fells  Flip
Ulrich of the Krallenhorde  Flip
Immerwolf
Daybreak Ranger  Flip
Ulrich's Kindred
Howlpack Resurgence
etc.

Just go leaner on the Elves and heavier on the Werewolves and fight abilities. Maybe run an Ogre Battledriver or Purphoros, God of the Forge ? Who knows - the world is your oyster haha

Good luck on your Naya adventures. If you have a list I'd love to look at it

Wish you could delete comments, this is the second one I messed up :-D http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/howly-crap-samut/

With 13 forests maybe Howl of the Night Pack would work? Didn't see it mentioned, and it is just a single use sorcery, unless you Eternal Witness it back... but on theme. Great deck and name for sure! +1

BringerOfStorms - Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, Howl of the Night Pack was up for consideration early on because of the amount of Wolves it could generate, but I couldn't justify the mana cost as I'm trying to keep the curve low (highest card right now is 6CMC). But Rhys the Redeemed nearly fills the same spot! As long as I have Wolves already, that is.

Eternal Witness could find a spot in here, though. It adds to the Human "tribal" I have going on and adds some much needed recursion (so far only Wheel of Sun and Moon and Marshal's Anthem ). Maybe replacing Wood Elves ?

SonRyu - Haha, no worries! If you really want, I can delete them both and you can post a new one ;D

Once I get some free time I'll take a look through your deck!

I love the deck. I just tried to build a Tolsimir deck myself and I see a lot of familiar faces! I see you went more for life-gain and I for token gen.

Some cards I think might do you well are Aura Shards , Righteous Aura , Mirari's Wake , and maybe some creatures like Adaptive Automaton and Wilt-Leaf Liege .

becks16 - Thanks :D Yeah, I went more into the lifegain route after seeing the drawing power of Well of Lost Dreams haha, that card is ridiculous with Tolsimir.

Aura Shards and Mirari's Wake are definitely on my future list because they're just great cards in general, but a little pricey for me right now. Righteous Aura on the other hand is only $0.20 and cool as hell! I'm gonna playtest this deck a bit more and see if I can find a spot for it :D

Adaptive Automaton and Wilt-Leaf Liege are both good, but I think I'm all anthem-ed out :P I think I'm running 13 different boost effects? Some of them are mana-intensive, but still worthwile.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Natalbee I have been trying to playtest my own build and find that I lack draw in a lot of cases, so Well of Lost Dreams makes a lot of sense, I'll see if that fits!

I also have been toying with cards like Fecundity , Dawn of Hope , and Vivien, Champion of the Wilds , as well as Inheritance if you want Fecundity all for yourself at a cost. I am going to see if some of those can fit into my build.

The draw problem in my deck is that good cards like Lifecrafter's Bestiary , Vivien's Arkbow , and Beast Whisperer (which might work well for you) only work for creature spells (I only have like 17 creature spells so much less value there).

I really like what you have going here. I've always wanted to make a playable wolves tribal. I highly suggest running Aura Shards . It would really pop off with your tokens and give you lots of removal.

LordMassaSquish - Thank you!

becks16 actually suggested Aura Shards , too. It is a fantastic card, and definitely going in at some point, but right now it's a little out of my price range. I have considered running a Harmonic Sliver with the Changelings as a budget option, though ;D
