Sideboard

This is a +1/+1 counter deck with an Affinity engine that I'am still working on.

Solid Snrake, For Your Health!

The deck revolves around Winding Constrictor and Hardened Scales. Almost everything in the deck will synergize with those cards. Stacking +1/+1 counters happens fast and efficiently do to the 8 +1/+1 counter amplifiers in the deck, add that to the Modular effect that Arcbound Worker and Arcbound Ravager have and, you have a nasty deck to deal with. Even if Ravager or Worker dies you can move their +1/+1 counters to other artifact creatures and that itself will also stack up a few more counters depending on how many Scales or Constrictors are on board. If Hangarback Walker dies it creates a bunch of thopters to attack from above or to sac to Ravager for more power. If Walking Ballista gets killed or even exiled you can remove what +1/+1 counters it has and do direct damage to your opponent or any creatures they might have.So all that means creatures dying isn't a bad thing necessarily.

The Springleaf Drums are for mana fixing and can give you 3 mana turn two with Memnite or Ornithopter in hand. All three can be fed to Ravager to PUMP IT UP.

Most of the creatures in the deck work with Animation Module. Which basically turns all of your unused mana when casting modulars/hangarbacks/ballistas into 1/1 servos that can be fed to Ravager or used along side Tomb of the Spirit Dragon to gain back some much needed life in a pinch. Module also pairs very well with Steel Overseer, adding to it "Tap,Pay X: Create X 1/1 Servos. X cannot be larger than the number of creatures you control."

Rite of Passage can infinite combo with Walking Ballista as long as a Constrictor or a Scales effect are on deck. First make sure your Ballista is at least a 3/3. Simply ping (remove a +1/+1 counter) the Ballista and target itself for 1 damage making it a 2/2, it will then gain +2/+2 back from Rite of Passage and Scales/Constrictor. When the turn resolves it will then be a 4/4. So basically lose 1 gain 2 back. The more Scales/Constrictors you have up, the better. Repeat this until you can send enough damage to your opponent. Ballista can also do this to other creatures if needed.

My land base does need work but, it gets the job done. I use Vault of the Archangel to gain back the life I lose to City of Brass, Mana Confluence. Spire of Industry and Llanowar Wastes are mostly pain free because there are so many colorless spells. Vault can also be used with Walking Ballista to turn it into a deathtouch sniper.

My favorite win con is Feeding gigantic Hangarback Walkers (along with all the thopter tokens they create) to an Arcbound Ravager then just sacrificing the Ravager to itself and putting all those counters onto an already pumped up Walking Ballista, remove the counters and shoot them toward the opponent, you've won the game like a Roman General with a sieging robot army.

When I have the money, I will be adding a play set of Mox Opal.
