Rakdos Vampires, yo. The plan is simple. Get vampires out, kill opponent with the vampires.
Turn 1 Falkenrath Gorger, turn 2
Heir of Falkenrath
, turn 3 flip
Heir to the Night
discarding/casting for madness
Olivia, Mobilized for War
, turn 4 hasty +1/+1 Drana, Liberator of Malakir discarding/casting Fiery Temper at whatever pitiful defense your opponent has mustered (or their face). Assuming you get through each turn, you've done up to 18 damage by turn 4 and have a shitload more on the way thanks to Drana (most of it in the air).
Sinister Concoction
is amazing. It's a solid turn 1 play if you have no other, and once it's down you can kill something and basically flash in any creature with madness during their combat. If gorger is down, that means Olivia, kalitas, Drana...
Liliana, Heretical Healer
enables madness while thinning their hand, or get back a gorger or heir in a pinch. At the very least having her down can make them afraid to block an unpumped Falkenrath Gorger or Asylum Visitor. And when she flips, free food for Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet.
The biggest problems I've faced are (understandably) early control and board wipes. A mono-blue kept everything tapped or in my hand until they got down 5 2/2 zombies, then parted the mothafuckin waterveil. Then, abzan midrange/control/whatever Languished and Flaying Tendrilsed through my early onslaught until gitrog finished me off. How to go about beating that kind of opponent is my next obstacle.
Let me know what you think. Vampires have a special place in my heart, and I am in love with this deck. Thoughts/advice always appreciated :D
