Confusion in the Ranks
is what makes this deck tick.
Everyone winds up trading just about everything, which really gums up the plans for a large cross section of decks in and of itself. The fact that it triggers on itself when it enters the battlefield tends to add extra joy if your opponent is trying to get over on you with some odd enchantments of their own. Whoops!
To make matters worse, this deck uses a few critters that hop back to the hand at the end of the turn to help make the creature swapping a truly unfair trade.
Remember, kids: "Do unto others, then get out of the area."
The pinnacle of aggravation on that tip is hands down: Norin the Wary, who blinks out until the end of the turn whenever anything gets cast, or anything attacks. Yup. "Gimme those creatures!"
Seething Song Because turn 3 confusion in the ranks just means so much.
Pyroclasm for when too much weenie.
I've chucked in a couple Great Furnace just in case some artifacts are itching for a new owner.
Bronze Bombshell
because the phrase "Give until it hurts" never specifies who has to do the hurting.
Drift of Phantasms Fetch, boy! Whether you need viashino sandstalker, propaganda, or seething song, this is your guy. Makes a decent wall in a pinch.
Ponder Howling Mine
Merfolk Looter
Faithless Looting just to speed up acquisition of whatever is needed.
