Shock of impact ran along my arm. Jet of warmth spattered on chest, like hot faucet. It was a 2/2 hydra who said "Mother" then, muffled under latex. It was just a 2/2 who closed his eyes. It was a ridiculous 36/36 fattie who opened them again.

Instead, meet: Scourge of Skola Vale ! he's pretty chill, especially when he's just munching away on Polukranos and growing big like his daddy, old Kalonian Hydra.

Looking for serious suggestions regarding the sideboard: for the record, the current listing is more of a maybeboard as I feel out what's working well most consistently online.
The mainboard is pretty much where I'd like it, even if it's a bit optimistic. Earlier incarnations of this deck featured more dimir card-draw and removal but, at the end of the day, it was giant f#$king hydras that I really wanted. So that's that. Relegating Mistcutter Hydra to the side was unfortunate, but he's tough to fit in, and the deck really wanted more 2-3 drop creatures.
