White/Green Heroic

Green/White Heroic.

General idea of the deck is to abuse the extra counters from Hardened Scales. Playing something like Feat of Resistance on a Heroic unit with it up gives them +4/+4 for 2 mana, which is pretty great. Hardened Scales does stack with itself as well, so if I somehow get 4 out a +1/+1 counter will turn into a +5/+5.

Hero of Iroas is a pretty standard Heroic card so I won't do a whole lot of talking about him.

Fabled Hero and Hero of Leina Tower are less common in Heroic decks because of their high cost or their Green requirement. However, I'm aiming for a more midrange approach to Heroic decks so they fit in nicely. Even though Hero of Leina Tower is a 1-drop she's not really the greatest turn 1 play because you need extra mana to utilize her Heroic ability.

Fruit of the First Tree is my insurance policy. If I get one out on a creature with a few counters on it I am in very good shape. Even if my creature gets Crackling Doomed or something I get to draw +5 cards at least. This card is also the main reason I put Lagonna-Band Trailblazer in over Favored Hoplite . Although at some point you draw too many cards and can't play them all and have to discard. I usually stop buffing my creatures enchanted with this past 9 toughness depending on how many cards I have in hand and how much mana I have on the board. If I have a lot of mana I can probably play 4 or 5 cards in a turn if I have to avoid discards so I'm more liberal with buffing enchanted creatures.

Solidarity of Heroes is an amazing card in this deck. It's 2 mana, and I can strive for 2 mana as well. Doubling counters on my creatures is just ridiculous. Even naked heroes with a Hardened Scales out will get 5 +1/+1 counters for just 2 mana. I only have 2 in my deck now, but I think I need to get 2 more soon.

Nature's Panoply is a very strong card in this deck as well. +2/+2 for 1 mana is powerful, and with Hardened Scales it only gets better.

Defiant Strike is key to my deck as well because I lack card draw aside from Fruit of the First Tree (which admittedly is usually a lot of draw power). It's also cheap heroic triggers and lets my creatures hit just a tad harder.

Ordeal of Nylea is a very important card for my deck. If I can sacrifice one early I will be pretty much set on mana for the rest of the game. I usually want to grab Forests for Daghatar the Adamant 's ability as long as I have enough White mana. Also, with Hardened Scales out I can play an Ordeal on a naked Heroic unit and sacrifice the Ordeal that very same turn.

Gods Willing and Feat of Resistance are anti-removal. Originally I splashed Blue for sideboard counterspells if necessary, but that caused my mana base to be too inconsistent so I cut the blue cards and went back to just W/G.

Ajani, Mentor of Heroes is great in this deck as well. With Hardened Scales out he can stack tons of counters on my creatures every turn or search for creatures or auras that I need.

My land base is mostly Fetches and Basics so that I can fetch all the mana I need with Ordeal of Nylea .

Things I'm thinking about changing:

2 x Solidarity of Heroes in for 2 x Nature's Panoply OR 2 x Ordeal of Nylea - Would slow my deck down a bit, but Solidarity of Heroes is much faster if I have any previous counters on the creature.
