To be brief: I wanted to make a mono-white voltron deck, focusing on cheap mana costs (very), protection from any colour (yes, any and every colour), few creatures and many enchantments. Protection is key.

In more detail: I've been playing standard Heroic decks (Selesnia, Mono-White and Azorious), and wanted to make a similar deck in a different format (so I can ignore rotation and not continue to pump money into cards). I wanted it to be unique, as well as being a strong and consistent. So, after a couple hours of searching through mtg card databases, this is what I've come up with: nothing costing more than 2 mana, many sources of protection from colour(s) (for protection and evasion purposes), and a smattering of control (namely Pacifism and Reconnaissance).
