Winning The Game

This deck attempts to win the game by assembling the Dramatic Reveral + Isochron Scepter combo and using it to untap Pyxis of Pandemonium in order to mill everyone out, then pass the turn to make opponents draw on an empty library.

Deck Tech: Dread Return + Razaketh

The easiest way to assemble our win is to flash back Dread Return and resurrect Razaketh, the Foulblooded who can tutor out all of the pieces we need. This line requires at least 1 other creature and , and may require additional mana depending on what you may have milled away. After flashing back Razaketh, sacrifice your other creature to retrieve Life / Death and cast it. The most basic Razaketh package consists of Sacrifice , Sol Ring , Pyxis of Pandemonium , and Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter . The number of sacrifices you will need to make can sometimes be reduced depending on what you happen to have handy. Retrieve the necessary pieces to your hand, then cast Sacrifice with your and bin Razaketh himself for a whopping which is more than enough to cast the rest of the pieces and assemble your loop. If necessary pieces are in the graveyard, you can tutor up and/or flashback memory's journey or other recursion to re-insert them into your deck for selection.

Deck Tech: Alternative Razaketh Lines

There are several other ways you can assemble Razaketh, most notably though hardcasted reanimation effects ( Victimize , Exhume ). Jarad's Orders into Body Double will give you Razaketh for 5, which is still quite a ways down from 8.

Deck Tech: Whispering Madness

Whispering Madness is probably the fastest way to grind out value in this deck, allowing you to wheel every turn by swinging with Sidisi, letting you refill your hand while discarding creatures and finding the Dread Return line much quicker. This deck has several ways to make Sidisi difficult to block, which will help keep her safe and let you get as much repeated value from this card as you can. Putting down Notion Thief with this effect in play will net you an absurd 29 cards per turn while simultaneously eliminating your opponents' hands, effectively destroying their gameplan unless they have a board capable of threatening you. Resolving this combo will force players who can't repond or kill you outright to topdeck, shutting them down.
