This deck is built around Omnath, Locus of Rage. Him, combined with Temur Ascendancy, creates an unstoppable force of fury and rage that opponents never see coming, and can almost never deal with. Play a land, put in a 5/5 with haste and draw a card? Make it a fetch land so you can do it again? Then ramp up and do it some more? Count me in!
The deck can psuedo combo out and add over twenty power to the board with haste and swing for the win. The deck likes to ramp early, and then explodes turn 4-6. Even without the Ascendency, the deck still does a good job of playing mana dorks early, playing mid-range threats like Nissa, Whisperwood, and Kiora on (or before) curve to absorb any removal/hate from the opponent. Then slam down Atarka/Omnath. Most decks can handle one big threat entering the board, but the second Atarka/Omnath is the one that wins the game.
Many changes have been made to make the deck run smoother. Dig through time refills the hand, Evolutionary Leap ends attrition matchups, while also refilling the hand, and Radiant Flames slows down speedy decks. Sideboard is more controlly to get you to the mid/late game where the deck just wins. If you have any suggestions, please let me know!
