HYPERBUDGET HYPE!!! So yeah, this was a private deck turned public when I realized that total deck price was $13. Before just turning it loose by making it public, I spruced it up a bit and improved upon it, while keeping it all under $20 mind you. Anywho, this is my R/G Aggro, that costs $15 without having the sideboard, and $17 with sideboard included. ;)

The Military- What each card does for the deck. Show

- Tax Payers' $$$

Forest, Mountain, and Elvish Mystic all serve as mana sources for the deck. Evolving Wilds fetches those lands for you.

- Infantry

Disciple of the Old Ways , Wasteland Viper, Saytr Hoplite, and Valley Dasher all hold down the frontline until you can get armor on the ground. They serve to keep an active board presence early game.

- Tanks

Deus of Calamity and Spellbreaker Behemoth are the two fatties of the mainboard. Once they get out, it is their job to start doing some real damage to your opponent, with extra goodies of course.

- Morale Boosts

Slaughterhorn , Rubblebelt Maaka , Wasteland Viper, and Hammerhand . These cards help to make your creatures beefed up on morphine before the big game; in other words, they make the infantry stand more of a chance, and make the tanks pure wrecking machines.

- The Reserves

These cards are deployed for game 2 and friends. If you ever find yourself having a difficult time during game 1, the sideboard is sure to help out. Messenger's Speed , Crowd's Favor , and Wasteland Viper are all present to deploy as extra morale boosters. Burning-Tree Emissary is a reserve's infantry unit; it serves as an early board roesence, and as a mana converter. Skarrg Guildmage can be deployed as both an infantry unit, and a morale booster, Ruric Thar, the Unbowed can be deployed for extra armor. Ranger's Guile you know why. ;)

The Strategy- How this deck is meant to be played. Show

Keep an early board presence with cards like Disciple of the Old Ways until the big tanks start to hit the fields, like Deus of Calamity . Continuing attacks with the tanks, and infantry if you choose, while simultaneously casting morale boosters (see below) like Slaughterhorn 's bloodrush to keep your opponents on their toes, and keep your creatures alive. Using both big creatures and temporary buffs, your ultimate goal is to bring your opponent's life down to zero as fast as you can, i.e., Aggro.

The Need-to-Know's- Things you need to know before making suggestions. Show

- This deck is a hyperbudget deck. What this means is that the deck price must be kept under $20 and the sideboard (if applicable) $5 or less.

- If I feel a suggestion is poorly justified or explained, I will most likely ask you to elaborate. This isn't as much of a problem, because I can usually see why a card would make a good addition to a deck. Oh, and if I'm being stubborn (I'm usually not) be prepared to defend your reasonings on any cards very, very throughly (this is even a less seldom problem).

Title's Answer- Do not click if easily offended. Show

Uncle Sam's Marijuana Club. Yes sir, if you take a little bit of nature (Green) and light it up (Red), you'll get the favorite pastime of the USMC (G/R Aggro Decks).

This is a great deck for both casual mtg players, and for competitors on a budget. Therefore, I'd recommend this deck to anyone wanting to make a G/R Aggro.
