Don't forget the Ophidian Eye :D

September 15, 2013 7:30 p.m.

either Ophidian Eye or Curiosity would work for the infinite draw/burn combo involving Niv.

I have Curiosity already in the deck. Thanks for the suggestions.

September 19, 2013 1:21 p.m.

that was more directed at Aerokid. I saw Curiosity already in there. :P

I know it will do the same thing, that's why I suggested it. EDH is an inconsistant format, so putting in more combo pieces means you'll hit that particular combo more often.

September 19, 2013 5:37 p.m.

Aerokid aah yeah that is true. in EDH, you can never have too much consistency.

well, in an attempt to answer both suggestions i have added Ophidian Eye to my want binder, and to my acquire board.

September 19, 2013 5:40 p.m.

I would suggest Storm Crow but that might be a bit too OP for your opponents to handle

okay,,, noob question... what is so great about a 2 drop 1/2 with flying that has no other abilities? i am so confused............

September 20, 2013 1:39 p.m.

it's a TappedOut running gag. there's really nothing special about it, and I think that's the reason behind the joke.

ok... i just felt like i was missing something clever.... basically a way to troll on blue users?

September 20, 2013 1:56 p.m.

maybe. I don't actually know how it started.

Basically someone said that Force of Will turned any blue card into the best card ever because it gave you a free counterspell. Storm Crow was a pretty generic not-very-special card, so that got picked. It snowballed from there.

September 20, 2013 3:16 p.m.

Aerokid oh! thank you! I've been wondering that for awhile. xD

September 20, 2013 3:18 p.m.

I don't see the reason for running Molten Primordial in here. Has it done anything useful for you?

I like funny/crazy things that happen in games, as do the others in my playgroup.... so it's there for that... and it actually works out pretty well..... i use it to slap people with their own commanders.

September 26, 2013 2:33 p.m.

I'd like to see you use it on someone who's running Phage the Untouchable xD

well, if I just gain control of it, then I won't lose... if i have a Teleportal , then attack the owner with her unblocked... that's a god hand i know, but thats the kind of shenanigans I like to see, and as much as that would suck to have done against me, the hilarity would be awesome.

September 26, 2013 3:04 p.m.

that's the point. it's already out, you gain control of it then swing at them and if it doesn't get blocked, then they just lost with their own general. if they do block, then they're essentially sacrificing whatever creature they block with, all to their own commander. it's fun.

you could even do it with the tokens that Vraska the Unseen produces

I just play tested your deck. I would be hard pressed to find a deck that performs this well in the same price range +1

Thanks for the +1! i am glad you were pleased with it... within my small playgroup this thing is a BEAST! even comboed out with Curiosity a couple times...

@ Ressurrectionist may I ask what you playtested this against?

October 6, 2013 midnight

I played it against my only EDH deck The Ressurrectionist. It is a mid-range zombie deck.

I would add Elite Arcanist to the deck. It lets u exile a target spell card from your hand and when ur next turn comes u can cast the exile card. It works very well with Turn / Burn and a card called Dragonshift in my opinion.
