Although I can't say I approve of the use of Curiosity. I find it just a cheap way of winning, so I don't run it in my own Niv deck.

Also, that Nivix land is actually just terrible.

Replace with Desolate Lighthouse

Mizzium Transreliquat is another fantastic Izzet EDH card, as can turn itself into numerous thing, including another common EDH staple which you should be running - Staff of Nin for extra draw and damage.

@DocMan I will give you the Sturmgeist and Staff of Nin , as I will fit them in. I do not have any copies of Desolate Lighthouse or Mizzium Transreliquat , which is why I declined those suggestions.

I gots a Desolate Lighthouse somewhere if you want one.

@canterlotguardian SURE! that sounds fine, I have an Evolving Wilds in there at the moment... Desolate Lighthouse is sitting at $0.31. so if you want to look at my binder, maybe we can reach an agreement...

Have you thought about Jace Beleren ? He's quite a fun draw engine (If I may say so.)

But Jace, Memory Adept let's you draw 20 and do a huge chunk of damage. Then you can cast Jace Beleren to do more damage.

no Steam Vents ? Shock lands are as cheap as they will ever be, may as well pick some up now.

Gorgon's Head and Thornbite Staff turn niv into a mass murderer. Also some owl buddies might be good for niv. Augury Owl , Spire Owl , Sage Owl .

The sheer amount of draw I have in the deck makes my Niv already a mass murderer.... so I don't need deathtouch.... the staff does not fit my theme, and the owls don't fit either.... at least not to my liking. that is the reason for the rejections. Thanks for the suggestions but at this time, no thanks.

Keep in mind the deathtouch kills creatures with 1 draw. It allows you to use those other draws to damage players. I can understand the others, but I would reconsider the deathtouch. +1 though

Have you thought of Skyscribing for more draw? Granted, it lets other people draw but by the time you play this, you can 1 shot everyone else with damage already.

There are many other older draw engines like Compulsive Research or Braingeyser . Blue Sun's Zenith is one too though these might all be out of your price range. I don't know. +1 for a nice deck idea.

I love this deck, I am going to money it into existence and modified it to taste after some playtime.

Preordain /Serum Visions

Not going the scry route on this one... I don't really care what I draw... just that I keep drawing cards.

I didn't mean to imply you didn't have it, I'm just going to make an exact photocopy of this and then tune it for my own style, this deck is solid.

Ok. zerotwo by all means build the deck, and tweak it as you see fit. I would love to see what you come up with.
