Commander / EDH Artifact Budget Combo Infinite Combo UB (Dimir)

Voltron3030

I was running Silas Renn, Seeker Adept as the commander for a few years. It was focused on building up all these artifacts which would interact into some sort of nifty mill combo, but it was a lot of pieces to set up, especially after the banning of Paradox Engine. Then I moved to a new town and eventually found a new playgroup, but these guys are a little more competitive. So I decided to go more for the throat when I realized the potential of Ukkima and Deadeye Navigator. I would also run Cazur, but I just built a pretty sweet Zaxara deck and tore apart a Mimeoplasm deck, so I thought it would be better to cool it on Sultai for a bit.

But the deck, combos, combos that are cool, combos that are infinite, and combos that win. That is the theme.

1st combo: Deadeye Navigator + Peregrine Drake = I win! --The two make infinite mana, so once they are out, I float a gajillion-berzillion mana. Then I use that to summon the commander and flicker it in out roughly half a gajillion-berzillion times.

2nd combo: Aphetto Alchemist + Illusionist's Bracers = Infinite artifact untaps. --Copy the untap ability on himself and aphetto alchemist lets me untap to my hearts content. This can make infinite mana with mana rocks (of which I have a few) or I can pair the alchemist+bracers with Grindclock for an infinite mill win! The other fun one is Lux Cannon. Infinite untaps on this baby and I can blow up everybody's everything, which usually means I win!

3rd combo: Leveler + Laboratory Maniac = I win! --This one is a classic and there are plenty of other ways to break Lab Man but I've done that whole build before. This one I threw in since Leveler is an artifact and I could possibly get sneaky with my Shimmer Myr. This one is here more as a contingency plan if someone steals away my commander or uses a Revoker or something dumb and annoying.

Other than that, the deck is focused on getting to one of these combos with drawing lots of cards, tutoring up key components, and recycling valuables from the yard since I'm sure my opponents will catch onto these tricks pretty quick. Back up plans are key. I do have a Mike and Trike set up in another deck that I hardly play; I'm considering moving those over, but I think it might be more useful to just get a Grim Tutor or Demonic Tutor. Suggestions welcome.
