Alright so here's the deal. You're probably looking at this deck thinking "man what the heck is this train wreck of a deck" well don't turn away just yet because this is some real Against the Odds stuff. The idea of this deck is to abuse a few things in the current ixalan standard and ultimately really jank out a win using the combination of Protection of the Hekma and the standard legal humility Overwhelming Splendor to lock our opponent's creatures out of the game and ultimately win the game with the my favorite enchantment from Ahmonket Sandwurm Convergence. So first things first looking at those cards those are some hefty mana costs with a 5 mana enchantment that does almost nothing and two different 8 mana enchantments. Luckily there are some really good ramp spells that this deck can take advantage of Attune with Aether, Beneath the Sands, Gift of Paradise, and lastly Hour of Promise. Gift of Paradise works really well because its an enchantment that allows us to abuse the sorcery Benefaction of Rhonas which is the main way to dig through the deck and find whats needed including our lock pieces and win con. Lastly we have the fogs ( Haze of Pollen and Commencement of Festivities ) which as I see are an okay way of staying alive against really aggressive decks in the format.

Concerns:1) i'm not sure about all the supporting cards and the numbers. I really like the idea of the Overwhelming Splendor + Protection of the Hekma lock but i haven't really gotten to test the deck and work out the numbers for the amount of ramp spells and the best way to stay alive to win the game.2) This deck is probably going to have a really hard match up against U/W approach and other control decks and i'm not sure of a way to fight those decks. i feel like a transformational sideboard could work with aggressive creatures like Longtusk Cub but that takes away from other slots that could be filled to try and fight other decks in the meta. 3) I don't know if the Fog route is the best route for this deck to take with staying alive to assemble the lock and ultimately win. The main dig spell Benefaction of Rhonas kinda works against that plan as it can only get creatures and enchantments. I think its possible to switch out the fogs for cards like Cast Out and Consulate Surveillance which work better with Benefaction of Rhonas as they are enchantments and still help us stay alive. 4) The curve is terrible and could probably use some work although ideally we plan to skip turn four 5) This deck really needs testing to figure out the right spells and the correct numbers to use.6) Maybe the deck could use board wipes?

Ultimately I think this deck could work and has a lot going for it. Being W/G and enchantment based there are a lot of interesting sideboard cards that can just hose decks that can easily slot into the deck because of Benefaction of Rhonas. This deck needs a lot of testing to get there though so all and any help, criticism, or suggestions are welcome and wanted. I hope to update the deck as I test it out and work with it.
