WESTVALE DEMONS

This deck is meant for my semi-casual playgroup of 3 players total. We've returned to MTG after a 15-20y hiatus and things are getting a bit heated. They've upped their game with cheap parlour tricks and now I intend to smash them with Demons. One of them plays with Oloro, Ageless Ascetic for excessive life gain and the other is Infect. My goal with this deck is to get 4 demons out as quickly as possible and end the game with Liliana's Contract. Can overwhelm them with Temporal Extortion. Because I suspect they'll ask me to remove Liliana after combo winning like that once I need the deck to also have a meta beyond that. This will demonstrate my absolute superiority. My Demons are bred in the freezing depths of Amonkhet, the seventh circle of despair, and come forth from my decrepid snowy landbase as they wash the board in the divine blood of Oloro and the putrid pestilence that is Infect!

RAMP Much mana needed to get my demons out. I run Snow-Covered Swamp's paired with cards that leverage the mono like Extraplanar Lens | Caged Sun | Bontu's Monument | Crypt Ghast | Cabal Coffers + Expedition Map to find it | and some rocks + the usual Dark Ritual | Burnished Hart.

CARD DRAW A sac engine with Skullclamp at the helm. Attached to low cost "return to the battlefield" minons like Bloodsoaked Champion | Bloodghast | Brood of Cockroaches | Nether Traitor | Reassembling Skeleton. But ideally: to Blood Speaker as a Demon engine. The engine is reinforced with cards like Liliana, Dreadhorde General | Dark Prophecy | Vampiric Rites. As my minions rise and fall I control the board with some removal synergy: Grave Pact | Dictate of Erebos | Reaper from the Abyss. If Skullclamp is removed I'll try to retrieve it Myr Retriever or Trading Post.

TUTOR I need lots of tutors to install my draw engine and fish out my demons. The goal here is to get Skullclamp out first for drawing more cards, and Blood Speaker out first as he can bring out more demons, in an endless cycle of despair. Plenty of cards to do the trick: Vampiric Tutor | Diabolic Tutor | Dark Petition | Increasing Ambition. I'm especially looking forward to pairing Scheming Symmetry with Ob Nixilis, Unshackled. The first Demon to tutor will be Rune-Scarred Demon and then he'll lead me to Liliana's Contract, if it's not already in hand.

LIFEGAIN A bit of lifegain to off-set the potential self inflicted wounds from my engine and direct damage for removal or finishing off opponents: Whip of Erebos | Consume Spirit | Exsanguinate, again leveraging the pool of black mana I hope to get out in droves before my feeble minded foes realize what's happening. Added Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond for an extra win con.

WIPE Some boardwipes because Commander and I like board wipes. Tried to include some that will not target my Demons: Dead of Winter | Dregs of Sorrow | Kindred Dominance | Reiver Demon.

DEMON EQUIPMENT I’ve added some protection for my demons: Lightning Greaves | Swiftfoot Boots | Haunted Cloak | Whispersilk Cloak. Also intend to surprise my enemies by keeping my demons in the game with things like Imp's Mischief and Null Brooch.
