I've been playing a LOT of vampire tribal in standard since the release of Shadows over Innistrad. However looking back on my collection one day I realized there are a LOT of great vampire cards for modern, so I thought I'd give it a shot.

The deck works decently, going for a strong early to mid game and then going nuclear in late-game with Necropolis Regent. +1/+1 counters for everybody and nobody can complain if you can pump Falkenrath Exterminator early enough to discourage blocking. Stromkirk Captain basically boosts defense to minimize trading, especially if the Exterminator deals damage pre-combat.

I am rather unfamiliar with modern as this is my first time trying it, so any suggestions are appreciated.
