Pre Magic 2020 Update —June 26, 2019
With Magic 2020 coming out with a plethora of Elementals and not having updated in quite a while here is a rundown of what we have gained in the last few sets:
Guilds of Ravnica - Arboretum Elemental,Fire Urchin,Runaway Steam-Kin,Worldsoul Colossus
Ravnica Allegiance - Amplifire,Chillbringer,Rumbling Ruin,Smelt-Ward Ignus
War of the Spark - Bloom Hulk,Living Twister,Thunder Drake
Modern Horizons - Igneous Elemental,Lightning Skelemental,Vesperlark
I have not added any of these Elementals to the deck - Lightning Skelemental seems like the most fun but does not really help move us along. Vesperlark let's us bring back Flamekin Harbinger and Wispmare but I would add Reveillark back instead as it gives us more targets.
In non-elemental updates, all basic lands have been swapped out for snow-covered basics to get value off anyone playing Extraplanar Lens.
