We have a weekly "open constructed" type tournament at our store where people play standard decks from a few years ago, casual decks and real Legacy and Vintage decks. It's rather fun but still somewhat competitive. This is my shot at a metagame-deck for it. Its fast beatdown is supposed to race the inevitable combo-decks, while the maindeck Wrath's work against all those Elves, Vampires, Goblins and what have you.

Everything should be self-explanatory. Play Student of Warfare, Accorder Paladin, Knight Exemplar, beatdown. Wrath if necessary. Buried Alive for Haakon, Knight Exemplar, Kinsbaile Cavalier or - if you happen to draw the one Haakon - Undead Gladiator.

Against Aggro, board Wrath and Path to Exile.

If you get paired against real Vintage combo, board Mind Twist, Disenchant and Tidehollow Sculler for the Buried Alive-engine. And pray.
