"The truly strong do not reveal their power until it is needed."

This is my first and favorite EDH deck, built around the Jeskai of Tarkir. It's one of my 5 Tarkir themed EDH decks, each with the added goal of being able to swap the commander for their Fate Reforged counterpart, in this case, Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest.

I originally constructed the deck in the spirit of my standard deck after it rotated. The standard deck utilized Generator Servant to get Narset out on the fourth turn and hopefully swing into a Temporal Trespass + Howl of the Horde. Extra turn effects in Standard were insane, but in EDH they're par for the course and so I decided to try for a less typical and more interesting build on Narset that isn't solely built on some degenerate infinite turns shenanigans.

The deck is intended to use until end of turn power buffs like Rush of Blood to get Narset dealing 21 power, and then take extra combat steps like Seize the Day and World at War in order to kill, hopefully the entire table. This takes a bit of orchestrating but it's one of the funnest experiences I've had in commander and your opponents won't be waiting for ages for you to finish your turn. Alternatively, it's entirely capable of dedicating multiple attacks to killing a single player before they get a chance to react.

It's significantly weaker playstyle, but that won't stop opponents for arbitrarily focusing you because of Narset's reputation so I'm finding myself struggling with the suite of removal and protection. Much of the control and protection is dead when drawn by Narset, but necessary to keep opponent's from focusing you down.

I've included a handful of creatures primarily for flavor reasons, but also because simple Prowess creatures can be powerful backup threats, especially Shu Yun. I'm having a hard time parting with cards like Sage-Eye Avengers because of their alternate arts, even though I know the deck will likely be better off without them.
