MBC version of my mimic deck
My standard mimic vat control deck scheme.
Lots of removal, mimic vat and some big beasties to keep the beat down on.

Based off of performance moved somethings out or to sideboard. Revamped the discarding suite and added in the specters.
Using this primarily as a multiplayer deck in FFA games for Planeschase, Archenemy. Although it can certainly hold it's own in a head's up game as well.
I use that too. It's in my fake casual sideboard. jp3ngu1nboy. I just like the GoD in the MB because it hits most things I see with my friend-players.
Well, even if you mostly see creatures with 4 or less toughness I would actually say Dismember is still better. Although it does have a higher CMC, the Phyrexian Mana can make it well worth it. Being able to just take the 4 life in a pinch is a useful option.
If you aren't a fan of that playstyle though then by all means use Grasp of Darkness .
I don't disagree at all. I think dismember is better. But if I was going to add a kill spell in my 3cmc slot, i'd put something different, like murder in, which is solid, but i tend to like the board sweeps and -x/-x spells more.
dismember can be good but my deck tends to bleed out a lot as is and i try not to help it along more than i have to.
Maybe a couple of Voltaic Key s or something similar to get multiple uses per turn out of your Vat!

I think you'll find Dismember significantly more useful than Grasp of Darkness
