Doran, the Siege Tower is cool, right? He's the top Treefolk Tribal commander and is an Assault Formation on legs, what's not to like? But hang on... Treefolk Tribal isn't budget enough! So many $5-$10 cards! How can I afford that when I'm perpetually broke?

Okay, clearly we need a new strategy for Doran. So, why's he so good for Treefolk Tribal? Well, he's a treefolk for one, but that can't be the only reason. Well, Treefolk are known for their high toughness, and our ol' buddy Doran turns that into power. So what other tribal has high toughness? The one tribal we've been too afraid to build... Wall Tribal!

Yeah, you read right. I'm doing Wall Tribal, and I'm making it work. There's a lot of powerful walls out there, they just can't attack, but that's not a problem! The basic strategy here is to use cheap toughness-pumping spells on cheap high-toughness walls, find ways to Animate Wall s and aggro our opponents into submission!

Let's see what we've got to work with here. We'll start with some cool/powerful walls that are auto-includes for Wall Tribal:

- Wall of Vines / Wall of Tanglecord /Angelic Wall - You don't necessarily need all of these, but it's important to run at least a few walls with either flying or reach, or you'll be thoroughly screwed when someone starts throwing down giant flyers.

- Crenellated Wall - You'll definitely want this guy for some fancy combat tricks after declaring blocks(or attacks) and before damage you can tap this guy to either make himself bigger or someone else for that last extra bit of power... I mean toughness... both?

- Overgrown Battlement - A Wall Tribal mana supplier? It's basically Elvish Archdruid for walls!

- Wall of Mulch - In case one of our walls is getting killed off by targeted removal, we can turn that loss into profit for 1 green mana! Just sac that wall for a card before the spell can kill it.

-Wall of Limbs - This is going to be one of the biggest powerhouses in any Wall Tribal build. Now, lifegain may not be the central strategy for the deck, but we are running the 3 best colors for it, so it tends to happen anyway. After a while, this wall becomes gigantic and you can just sac it for lethal late game.

Okay, cool, we have some decent walls. But you can't build any tribal as just a 100 card pile of that tribe. So, what tribal boosters that are not technically walls do we have?

- Leyline of Vitality - What did I say? Lifegain happens in these colors whether or not you mean for it to. Leylines are definitely good, even if they're not in your opening hand. This one in particular is great for Wall Tribal for the free turn 1 toughness boost.

- Behind the Scenes - So this is cool. None of our creatures can be blocked by anything with higher power than themselves. This is particularly good, because most walls have 0 power.

-Stalwart Shield-Bearers/Perimeter Captain/ Oathsworn Giant /Axebane Guardian - These are a few of the non-wall creatures you may want to run in your Wall Tribal, all for pretty obvious reasons. Shield-Bearers and Giant for the toughness, Captain for the lifegain, and Axebane for the mana ramp.

-Meekstone - Why should anything big be allowed to untap, huh? Trick question, it shouldn't! Only your walls get to untap! And I guess token decks, but hey, can't win em all!

- Grim Contest - Imagine the look on Atraxa's face when a giant wall comes sliding towards here and just absolutely smashes her. Toughness-based fighting is a clear advantage in Wall Tribal.

Now a cool thing you can do with Wall Tribal to go along with aggro, as I said before, is lifegain! It really helps with cards like Wall of Limbs while also making you even harder to kill, which is, of course, in the spirit of Wall Tribal. Here's some particularly powerful Wall Lifegain cards.

- ikra shidiqi - This guy's pretty much not even an option for wall tribal, because even if you don't have Doran out, your walls will be gaining life for toughness rather than power.

- Pontiff of Blight - Drain everyone's life every time you play a spell for as many points as you can spend black or white mana. The bigger the playgroup, the bigger the lifegain!

- Wall of Essence - Sure, swing at me with your 30/30 creature. See what happens.

From there all you need is the obvious things like Rolling Stones and Wakestone Gargoyle to let you attack with all these walls, and you're set! An aggro strategy they'll never see coming!
