This works better than I thought it would. It's faster and more resistant to control than I expected.
Basic Strategy
Creature Priority
You want try to play a Kor Duelist or Vault Scourge turn 1. It's important to get out Puresteel Paladin and/or Auriok Steelshaper, otherwise the deck is pretty much a generic equipment deck. Leonin Shikari is a great enabler, but isn't much of a threat by itself. If you're really in need of a body, you can tutor up a Flayer Husk with Steelshaper's Gift.
Equipment Selection
Steelshaper's Gift gives you a lot of flexibility in how you can respond to your opponent.
Godsend is the heavy hitter here. +3/+3 is a nice buff, but the exile ability often leaves your opponent with no good choices. It's important to note that since it doesn't target, it can exile creatures that have hexproof/shroud/protection. Loxodon Warhammer for when you need to stabilize your life pool or when you have a creature that can survive attacking to take advantage of the trample. Sword of Ice and Fire is great if your opponent has some low toughness creatures to ping, you need the extra card draw, or the protection is relevant. Paradise mantle can help your mana problems and is free card draw with a Puresteel Paladin. The Bonesplitters are more there to give you some early threat with a Duelist or Scourge.
Basilisk Collar combos well with a buffed Duelist. I initially put it in with Veridian Longbow for the lulz, but the combo has gotten me out of a tight spot enough times that I'm inclined to leave it in.
