A Vraska-themed Golgari deck, utilizing both deathtouch and fight mechanics to turn your creatures into kill-spells.

Why Pharika?

Pharaka, besides being pretty on-flavor, creating Deathtouch Snakes, is a cheap, Indestructible Commander that provides some equally cheap grave-hate. Sure, your opponent may get a 1/1 Snake with Deathtouch, but when they are trying to bring back something with Sheoldred, Whispering One or with Meren of Clan Nel Toth (a favorite within the local EDH community here), I'll take the 1/1 Snake any day.

Playing the Deck

Not really much of a competitive deck, this one plays to either have your Deathtouch creatures fight your opponent's creatures, effectively rendering them into Kill Spells, or using Deathtouch as a means to keep your enemies from attacking you or your various Vraska's, lest they lose their creatures. It goes without saying that the Vraska cards, with the exceptions of Swarm's Eminence and Regal Gorgon, have pretty nasty ultimates that your opponents are not looking forward to seeing be used

Key Cards/Combos

Crypt Rats is an absolute menace when given Deathtouch, and effectively acts as a field wipe, with exceptions of indestructible creatures. Once it has Deathtouch, all it takes is to blow up everything. Raving Dead + Rogue's Passage or Raving Dead + Whispersilk Cloak ...Pretty much anything that makes this zombie unblockable is going to wreak havoc on your opponents. Torgaar, Famine Incarnate is a nasty piece of work all by his lonesome. Arachnogenesis + Archetype of Finality Allows you to create a blocker with deathtouch for each creature attacking you
